I have thought about deleting my account. Then I think that I would hate to loose everything that I have on it. Maybe I will just change my name to something silly, and then no one other than the friends I already have will know who I am.

I wouldn't delete my account, it's pretty much the only way I can keep in touch with distant family. I have had enough with some people's drama on there so I just "unsubscribe" from their status updates . Makes life so much more pleasant

I like it - I wouldn't delete my account. Great way to stay in touch with people you like but don't need in your life all the time. Plus, I like sharing pics of things.

I like it. I don't find I overuse it but I like to use it to keep an eye on what the kids are doing/saying, keep in touch with friends back home & play the odd game.

Nope, I stay in touch with a lot of friends and family that way. Being a military family we have friends all over and our family is pretty scattered. It's a great way for my family on the other side of the U.S. to see pics of the kids on a regular basis.

I would. I have thought about doing it when I start my new teaching job, as it's not a great site to be on as a teacher.

I hate FB anyway, I don't enjoy being there or spend much time there, and I've only kept it up to now because of friends wanting me to be on there.

My brother's 20-year old girlfriend thought it would be nice to set up a Facebook page for my Mum who is a principal. It was a nice thought and all, but my Mum had her take it down pretty quickly! My mother isn't into that sort of thing anyhow. But you definitely want to stay out of it if you are in education (and various other employment categories too).
