Being Persian, our cooked meals do take a long time to make.
I do cook very big and complicated meals, but I also have time to do that since I am a stay at home wifey. I will also be staying at home once baby is here.
For example, I made spaghtetti and it took it 1 hour and 40 min from start to finish.
It was gooooood!
However, I have difficulty cooking enough just for two. it always comes to be a lot more. Hubby took some to work, we had some the next day and I still have a full pot left......anyone want some???
The meals I make usually don't take a long time to make. Money is tight so fresh ingrediants....mainly including fresh meat is hard to keep around. One example of a meal I love to make is pasta salad. I make it after lunch...put it in the fridge and it's ready at dinner time. It's so yummy too. Honestly, I usually only cook for my daughter and I since my hubby gets home late....also he doesn't like anything remotely healthy and is very picky...so even if I made a complicated dish and put it in the fridge he would still heat up chilli and hot dogs.
