I was thinking alot lately about the fact that I could have the babies anytime after christmas. I know thats early but there are alot of circomstances that make it very possible I could have the baby end of december or Jan, and very very likely that I will deliver the end of february. So I thought that I should get the hospital bag packed just incase anything happens.

Has anyone else packed one yet? What are you putting in yours. The funny thing is that my first I was packed at about 25 weeks and did bring it but it got lost in the hospital somewhere, my second I was packed at 18 weeks but because of all the terror the morning she was born it got left at home.

SO I have 2 bags I have packed the babies comming home bag, with two outfits, two hats, socks, botties, two sweaters, two underoutfits.
I know that they won't becomming home right away but I feel like its positive energy to have it all packed for them.

I haven't started mine yet because I can't think of what to put in. I will be having a c-section. The reason I am having trouble deciding what to put in is that I don't know if I will have to go in for a bit before I have them, possibly weeks, I also don't know what city so I could be far from home or close.

Haven't done mine yet, I didn't Seamus around 33-34weeks I think.

I still need to get a baby bag, Seamus' is ripped so we need a new one plus I want a bigger one sense I will have Seamus' stuff in there too(Not at the hospital but I mean when we go places lol).

I'll probably get mine done in Februaryish.

In my bag I'll put magazines/books, cards, couple pairs of underwear(sense I dont know if I'll have a c-section or not I want 2 different kinds with me), Going home clothes, Brush, hair ties, tooth brush/paste, shampoo and conditioner, soap, extra Maxi pads, I ran out sense Seamus stayed in the hospital after I was discharged and couldnt' get more from the hospital. I will also be bringing a pillow from home again.

In the baby's bag, a hat(I dont like the hospital ones ), going home outfit, diapers, wipes, brush, camera, baby book, blankets, socks.

I'll do mine in February most likely. I know I probably have my list from when Bailey was born. I think I did a good job when I packed then.

I probably won't pack mine till March..since I'm not due till the end of April. but I can see where you'd want to get your's done ASAP since you may be going early....I dont really know what you would need for a c/section...my first was vaginal.

Hm.. I have no idea. With Grace I didn't pack a bag because she was an emergency c-sec and I think I just used hospital clothes for the 4 days I was there. I told DH to pack me some undies, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush.. I think that's it. I was mostly sick from the medicines when I was in the hospital so it wasn't fun.
Grace didn't come home for 2 weeks so I brought her stuff when we visited her in NICU (we went everyday to bring her milk), I brought some preemie outfits for her, and we brought her bag with coming home outfits (and also her hospital picture outfit), blankets, socks, etc. She came home in January, it was freezing cold!

Nope, havn't packed yet. That's one area I'm not prepared in! I did get a bathrobe for my birthday and I picked out blue instead of pink. I haven't picked the coming home outfit yet. I'll probably pack late February or early March.

With my DS I packed my bag at about 11:00pm the night before my c-section I tend to do things very lat minute. I'm not overly worried b/c I live so close to the hospital. It's a 5 minute drive home for SO in case anything gets forgotten.

I haven't packed yet. With DS I severely overpacked stuff for myself and between that and all the stuff I had to take home from the hospital there was barely room in the car !

For me I packed, maxi pads, some bikini style underware , a nightgown, bathrobe and a going home outfit, plus all my own toiletries and makeup , since I don't like the hospital junk. My hubby also packed a portable dvd player, his own pillow and his own blanket!

I had way too much junk and didnt end up using most of it , and it was one more thing to drag back home!!

This time around Im planning a water birth so Ill bring probably a bathing suit top or sports bra to wear, some pads for the way home in case I need them, and toiletries. I wont be bringing anything for entertainment as I didnt use any of it last time. I may bring my bathrobe again since the hospital ones are thing and not warm at all!

For baby Ill pack a couple of outfits, the receiving blanket that both my husband and DS were wrapped in at the hospital(mother in law gave it to me so its our tradition now) a few diapers for the way home, some wipes and a hat or 2.

I def. tend to over pack but that way Im not caught off gaurd missing something!! I usually wait as long as possible to pack a bag for myself because a lot of it I use on a daily basis, I keep most of it in the same spot though so it wouldnt be hard to just throw it in a bag and go, or for DH to come home and get it at some point.

I won't be packing for a long time. But I was thinking about how people could start having them fairly soon too...it kinda scares me.

I will probably pack mine sometime around 28 weeks. Last time i packed it around 30 weeks and I am very glad I did so, went to the hospital with a headache at 32 weeks and delivered that night. I know I am higher risk of another emergency c-section and would rather be prepared.

That being said there were some things I packed last time that I really did not need, and some things I didn't pack that I wish I had!

I probably won't pack until the beginning of April. I know each preg is different but I have been over due every time so I'm not too worried. Although, I do have this strange feeling I will not go over due this time. Besides all of that I haven't bought a single thing yet.

I'll probably have mine packed after Christmas.

I need to buy a new bathrobe, and some pyjama's.. plus maternity pads... and breast pads too - I remember last time I leaked soooo much with Jade.

I will pack mine around 30 weeks and carry it with me to all of my appointments after that. My OB is almost an hour away and last time, they admitted me straight from there because of pre-eclampsia. DH had to drive all the way home to get the bag and I was all alone for over 2 hours. I don't want to have to go through that again.

I know i wont be packing till maybe march sometime. Will need to pack 3 bags. 1 will be mine & new baby's things,:
a robe for me,slippers...warm socks, brush, hair scrunchies & toiletries, camera and candy. For baby a going home outfit, socks and a receiving blanket.

The Second bag will be snacks/juices for my younger 2 so they are not driving my dad crazy the whole time. As the third bag will be misc toys and coloring books to hold them over while my hubby goes in with me for my csection.

I never really had time to read magazines or listen to music so i used the time to spend with baby. The hossy usually supplies pads....undies....their gowns why bring my own pj's to soil and ruin with my blood from csection when i can just use theirs. They gave me diapers last time and a pk or 2 of wipes to take with esp a paci or 2 and left over bottles we didnt use to take home with us.
