So my doctor's nurse called me back about my ultrasound yesterday. They need me to come back for another ultrasound. They said it looks like my placenta is low, so I might have placenta previa. And they need better pictures of the heart, since the kid wouldn't cooperate they couldn't get good pictures of the heart. So now I'm worried I might have placenta previa. I hope I don't! I really don't want a c-section especially for my first baby.
The only good thing is I get to see my baby again on ultrasound and have another chance at finding out what the gender is. The ultrasound is on December 22nd. I just have to try not to worry about it.
Even if you do at this point the placenta could still move up, so don't get worried about it because #1 you don't know you have it and #2 it might not be a big deal if you do.
Hugs! I had marginal placenta previa with Belle and it moved up by 32 weeks. I still had to have an emergency c/s due to my pre-e and Hellp. Hopefully it is fine and you end up with another chance to see what you are having!

I'm also possibly facing placenta previa. I was spotting and that's what brought me in. My first ultrasound showed that the placenta was close to the cervix, but it wasn't clear how close. I had a second ultrasound at the hospital (on a much better machine then the one in the office), and once the Dr. reviewed the pictures i was told that she still couldn't clearly see how close to the cervix the placenta is! So, i am waiting till Dec. 3, to have another ultrasound. I'm planning on having a c-section anyway (I've done it both ways and prefer the c-section), but I am still really nervous about this.

I currently have that as well and go back in 4-5 weeks to see if its moved up. I've always had them okay by the 20 week mark, so this also makes me a little nervous. I'm not worrying about it, we still have lots of time for them to move on there own, hang in there!

I had that with my first pregnancy and though I did have to go on bed rest for a couple of weeks it did move up on its own and I have never had a C-section......just in case it ends up that you have it. Hopefully not if they couldn't tell for sure
