I had my first postpartum af last week. Are things still going to be off for a while or will it be more regular now? Also, I know everyone is different, but when things do regulate will the cycles typically be like they were before you had a baby?
I'm trying to predict when af will come again. I'm not sure what to expect? I'm guessing it's going to be all weird while I'm still breastfeeding. My cycles were always irregular before Natalie... 34-48 days.
I dont/didnt BF, so I am not much help. After my first AF, my cycles went back to normal (within a few day span). I just want to say I am jealous of a potential 48 day cycle (well, when not TTC!). But that would be nice!

It can take upto a year PP for your cycles to get back on track. Not everyone is like that but it can. I'm unlucky and even with 100% BFing I get my cycles back right away, but something is wrong now and I cant' get it checked so I have to suffer through it.
Hopefully yours will get back on track for you.

Mine are still all wacky. Right now I'm waiting for mine & it's been over 5 weeks since my last one. It takes awhile for my body to get back to semi normal ones. I was regular before my kids, but it seems with each one I have, it gets more crazy. I can bleed light for 5 days, heavy for a week or just a few days.
Mine have been weird since I stopped bfing at 6 weeks. I had one normal one and then after that I could never tell. Now that I've gotten the Mirena, it's even weirder.
