This boy is into EVERYTHING! My house looks like a disaster zone because either he's pulling out every single toy or emptying every drawer and cabinet. I can't keep up! I don't know why it's so exhausting this time. Maybe it's because we have more stuff and aren't used to living in toddler mode but man! I can't turn my back for a second, and forget leaving a door open because he makes a bee-line straight for it to see what he can get into! And forget me leaving the room or trying to cook/do laundry. He has to stand and hold onto my legs or scream if I try and put him down so I can actually get something done. Right now he's emptying all 22 cans of diet coke from the box and rolling them across the floor...it's one of the less distructive things so I'm not stopping him so I can drink some coffee. He doesn't hardly touch his toys anymore. He'd much rather play with the pizza pan!
I know others are feeling the same way! WHEW!

I could have wrote this post myself. Being a first time mommy I guess I knew this was coming but man it is exhausting! Aiden gets into everything and DH wonders why I like to cook dinner when he is over at his grandparents house( we have a house literally like next door to them, our front doors are 20 ft apart). I know I want a second baby but I'm not sure how my sanity will handle two.

I can't keep up either. "Clean" has a new definition than it did before Natalie. I use to keep things pretty spotless... now I am satisfied with my house being "clean" if you can walk through the living room and not trip on a toy. Thankfully she is getting a lot better about letting me get some house chores done now. She doesn't insist on being held so much anymore (unless Daddy's here... she wants him to carry her everywhere). Totally know how exhausted you feel!

Did I write this??
Ana is just into everything, and what she cant get into she pushes a stool over to it so she can get in!
She is trying to learn the stair gate mechanism (DH has trouble, so I doubt she´ll manage it!). I keep telling myself that all 13 month olds are the same, but to be honest the ones I know are much more refined!

That is hilarious! I clicked on this post and before I could read I had to get up and take a wire away from Elias. He must have just realized that he could get in our set of drawers in the dining room where we keep all of our miscellaneous cord. Now as I right this he is going for the tissues. He grabbed one and is now tearing it into bits. So, I feel you. They're like the Tasmanian devil from loony tunes.

I'm tempted to empty the drawers in the coffee table and put his toys in there. Maybe then he'd play with them!
