Yes, but only if it's done the right way...the feds could set it up in such a way that tax revenues could get our country out of debt. It's not about whether or not people should actually smoke or buy pot, they will regardless, BUT if it's legalized in a smart way, our country could benefit from what people are going to do regardless. However, FYI...I voted "no" on legalizing it in CA this last election, because the proposition was poorly written and obviously not well thought out.

I say no.. because I think it could potentially open the floodsgates for other things too. And because I've lived in Amsterdam and let's just say that it's not the kind of atmosphere I'd want my kid around...

I go back and forth on it. All of Susan's point are very true and valid, and I fully agree with them. But then Kristianna has a great point about Amsterdam. I am honestly torn on it!

Yes - but only for use in brownies... hehe just kidding!

I go back and forth on this a lot. I think that a lot of money, time and resources are wasted on cracking down on it and I also think I'd rather deal with a pothead than a drunk... but I can't imagine people walking around stoned all the time. I don't know if you can really smoke pot in "moderation". lol

My thoughts on it are it should me legalized ONLY for medicinal purposes. Terminal illnesses are painful and marijuana helps to aleviate their pain when nothing else helps.

Yeah, I agree that it seems to be a waste of resources to crack down on it too. I probably wouldn't lose any sleep over it being legalized though.

But I'd probably vote no because I don't believe it will be well regulated.
