Zachary's only gained about 3 lbs since his 2 year appointment. Is that normal? You'd think I'd remember, but he's only 30-31 lbs right now. He eats okay...I mean not great, and doesn't look thin. I'm just wondering. His doc hasn't said anything, but I haven't asked either.

Anaiah has not gained all that much either probably just 2 pounds or so.. She does not eat so well but is growing. Her doc. said it's ok that she's not gaining lots of weight as long as she is still growing and full of energy.

i was always told after 2, a 1-3lb weight gain was normal. Kierans gained more the that (around 8lbs) but she was also the size of a 1yr old at her 2yr check. She's now upto 30lbs which is still small but more like a 2yr old should be.

That makes me feel better. Like I said, he doesn't look thin. He eats like a normal 2 year old (sometimes great, sometimes not so much). Pants are difficult in the waist still (mostly because pants this size are made for diapered butts). Thank goodness for adjustable waists! Elastic is definitely a no go unfortunately!

Aiden weighs around 35 pounds but he is also tall. Probably at least 40" and wears a size 11 shoe. His waist is small and he has no extra fat at all.

The battery died on our scale and I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet, but I noticed a real slow down in weight gain. He's shooting up in height again, but I've only had to adjust the waist on his pants once.

It is pretty normal for them not to gain a lot right now. James is only about 29lbs (but oldest DS was only 33lbs at his 4 year check) I guess I just have really skinny kids.

Hazel was about 31lbs at her 2 year check-up and I weighed her the other day and she's 32lbs now...she eats well and I am not worried at all. From what I understand, it's completely normal for a 1-4lb weight gain this year.

Ana weighed 22lbs at 2 years and now weighs 26lbs, so they said she did well this year. She has grown really tall though, enough to have to turn her in her car seat. I read 1-4lbs is normal because their heads donīt really grow, just their bodies, and its the head that weighs most.

Alex weighs around 34lbs right now. I don't remember what he was at his 2 year check. I don't think he's gained much weight, but we have noticed he's getting a lot taller. I've had to take his adjustable pants and make them smaller, he's gotten skinnier as he's gotten taller. We can't believe how tall he is because I am only 5ft tall and DH is 5'7". We're not tall parents and right now Alex towers over his cousin and our neighbor boy who are all the same age only like a month apart. We always say grow Alex, grow Alex!

Last I checked Aiden hasn't gained anything since his 2 yr check - he is still sitting between 30-31 lbs.
