Hi Dena!!! I'm hanging in there (actually out there!
) I am now officially bigger belly-wise than when I delivered Hazel! It's incredible...my size large maternity shirts look like spandex!
And they don't cover the bottom of the bump! Ha!!! I had to get some bigger maternity clothes yesterday...didn't want to, but with 8-10 weeks more (hopefully) I need something to wear! DH says we should just call his aunt and borrow some mumus...um...no!
My OB says she will induce by July 8/9 if I haven't delivered. She moved my EDD back to 7/23...but my twin EDD is 6/25...and the hospital policy for twins is not to go past 38 weeks...! I can't believe my little sweet girls will be here in 10 weeks or less.
The twins are growing and getting strong from what I can tell. My fundal height last week was 34...I was 26 weeks/27weeks. BUT...I'm much wider at the base and sides than I'd ever EVER IMAGINED! My belly is basically a huge round beach ball...so different than I thought was possible. It goes out (as wide or wider than my hips!) and then round round round!!! I'm hoping to bake the girls until at least 36/37 weeks, I just am so fearful with the soft cervix that they may come soon. I'd like to make it to 32 weeks minimum...here's to keeping them baking!!!
Hazel is such a LOVE!!! She kisses my tummy and talks to the twins a million times a day! She is so patient and understanding with my partial bedrest (for the most part)! She is going to make a great big sis and keeps talking about how she will bring me two diapers and the box of wipes and help me change them. She says she will "rub their backs while they eat boobie milk"!
She has started nursing her dolls and tells me to sush as her baby doll is sleeping.
she asked for a breast pump the other day so I could "babysit" her doll...
I think she's absorbing too much info & am almost afraid what might come out of her mouth!
She is very excited!!!
I start non-stress tests in 3 weeks (twice a week) and have another high def u/s coming up in the beginning of May.
No work on the nursery yet....we haven't even cleared out the closet...I'm not gonna stress!
I wanted to get some handmade/crocheted twin hats...I ordered some from Etsy...so cute! I hope they aren't huge...
Um, that's about it...I'll post some of our name ideas in the hideaway this week...no real clue what we might actually choose...
