Wedding

Sooo, Haeden is going to be in a wedding on Sunday. He is the ring bearer. I am sooo nervous because I cant' imagine that he is going to really be cooperative. Keep your fingers crossed! I am not in the wedding so I am hoping to sit at the end of the row and try to bribe him down with jelly beans. LOL.

Then I have to somehow keep him quiet through the ceremony... oy vey.

Just make sure the rings are tied to the little pillow! My niece was ringbaerer at my SIL wedding and at the last minute I had to safety pin them down!
He�ll be fine, and bribes never hurt, just in case!

Yes at this age Bribes aren't a bad thing yet lol And if he will be sitting with you after the ceremony maybe a coloring book or something to keep him quiet. But to be honest. Bailey and Kayson were 4 and 3 when we got married and they were pillow fighting and all that and I didn't even notice at all. I was too wrapped up in DH at the time.

Good luck! We've had like 3 of our friends ask for Bella to be in their weddings and we always say no because we know she won't behave. lol

Awe! I can only imagine Zachary! Is it an afternoon or morning wedding. I can't imagine afternoon because he gets quite cranky!

The wedding is at 6pm tomorrow. The rehearsal was tonight. We decided it was best for me to walk him down the aisle. But I am still worried he won't behave or be quiet. He just doesn't listen right now. No amount of bribing or threatening, or heck, spanking or time outs work right now. I was embarrassed tonight and even cried in the way home.

No matter what, it'll be adorable! Hazel and my nephew (same age...also April '09) were in a wedding in Dec together. Hazel didn't fully cooperate, she wouldn't stand at the alter, but that was fine. My nephew was a total cutie and threw the ring pillow the last 5 feet of aisle, turned around and high-tailed it back down the aisle almost mowing down the bride. The cogregation just laughed, makes for great memories!!!

For keeping him occupied at the seats, iPhone videos (you tube) and head phones...worked a charm with Hazel and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

So... I stressed for nothing. He was literally running circles around me as we waited to walk down the aisle, but when the time came he turned on the charm and was a complete doll. He was so proud to hold his little sequined pillow and when he turned down the aisle and saw the groom, he went running up to him to give a high-five (we had told him to do that instead of giving him the pillow. the entire time before the wedding he refused, but again, he turned it on in the end). He did pretty well during the ceremony, too. I gave him some fruit snacks and brought a little toy (those candy holders with the fans on top) and he played with that until it was over.
