What and Why.

Has your kiddo started on these? Not even like in full question form (like "Why is the sky blue?), but if you ask or tell Bella to do something 75% of the time her automatic response is "What?" or "Why?"

YES! for about a year now... it's getting old... After repeating myself a few times, I usually ask, "what did I just say/Tell me what I just said". He can always repeat it word for word. I think the "What?" is not that he didn't hear me, but more of a "I don't understand, please explain in a different way". Still, it's annoying...

Siera does the why. Full on question. My brother did it also when he was younger and it was so annoying (so annoying that I remember it being so annoying

). It's soooo annoying this time around, I can't wait for this phase to end!

omg,yes!Seriously,every time i say or tell anything to Tatum its "what?".i actually took him to the doctor and got his hearing tested,and he of course passed with flying colors.

Like Heather said,i now know he can hear me,but i dont think he understands what i am saying,or needs me to say it another way,because if i ask him to repeat what i just said,he can.

Some lady at Target the other day overheard me and Tatum talking and was like,"i think the word what just comes out automatically with him,huh?"

Constantly! I usually answer the first one or two and then fall back on either "because it IS (or I said so)" or "why do you think?!"

Yes! She will ask why till you get down to not knowing the answer anymore or it cannot be explained any farther. Sometimes I enjoy it and sometimes it's just irritating.

And "what" omg.... it drives me crazy. And I know she says it sometimes just to say it because I always follow "what" with "excuse me??" and she says "oops! I say ma'am!"
