If you had your child in daycare, and pulled them out. HOw did they react if you put them back in? Was it easier or harder? What ages where your kids?

DD will be going back to preschool (I'll be working there). One of her friends that I currently babysit for will be going also. They'll be in the same class. So I'm sure right there, having the best friend around will help immensely for both girls. We're going to start talking about preschool again, and get into a stricter schedule. I'm going to let her pick out a lunch box, and nap mat, and special cup for "school." And that will be her Christmas presents - to kinda get her excited.

She was in daycare from 13 months to about 23 months. I stopped working the week before her 2nd birthday to stay home. She is a slow to warm up kid, she still cries when I drop her off at our church nursery. Part may be because I am in there every other week with her. But when I go to school, she pushes me out the door. I always keep good byes short and sweet. And we will arrive early, and I will probably have DH drop her off with her class. I imagine since its a new daycare - and all children are new, a lot of people will be arriving early also. Any thoughts? Suggestions? I expect it will take at least a month or two to really get back into the preschool thing. I think she'll really enjoy this school a lot more then her last one. Plus, her best friend is there! If either girls have a hard time, I will be right down the hall.
