And I'm nervous because when I am not working, I get so bored. Hubby works very long hours now that he is home, and I really don't have anything to do around here without spending money.

I wish I could work up until I deliver

I worked right up until they took me in for an emergency c-section. I actually left the hospital so I could come home and cancel meetings, and notify my manager before heading back to the hospital. Believe me, I would have given anything at that moment to have had a couple of weeks off before delivery like I had planned to have.

Enjoy every moment of it. Spend some really freaking awesome quality time by yourself. It's very seriously the last opportunity you'll get to pee without an audience or making a royal declaration of your intent to pee, for a reallllly loooong time. Savour every single second of that. Read a book, and watch some movies. Catch up on your favourite tv shows, and go shopping. Clean a bit, and nest a bit...

I'm excited for you! This is an incredibly wonderful moment you're in right now! Enjoy it!

Ditto Becky! I also worked until the day I had an emercency csection. I actually went to a normal appointment that afternoon and was rushed to the hosptal due to pre-e. Btw: your picture is beautiful! Love the baby bump!

I actually ended up having almost 2 weeks pretty much off before delivery because my work is project-based and they didn't want to take a chance that I'd be assigned to a project and then immediately have to leave. I had a few administrative duties but I did very little those two weeks work-wise. It was great. I went for a long walk every morning to try to bring labor on, took naps (since I was having hard time sleeping at night), watched movies (the last time I'd have the chance for several months), did prenatal yoga, read books, cleaned the house, got caught up on shopping, and got caught up with friends. I savored the time and sometimes I wish I could go back! I bet if you try you will find plenty to do!
