3 days to yourself in your house...no husband, no kids, no pets...What would you do?
Natalya'sMom's post got me to thinking...I started with I'd reserve 4 hours of the first day for just general personal upkeep (shaving legs, colouring my hair, tweezing my eyebrows, and peeing in peace), and then I'd read, watch my favourite shows, and just generally hang out for the rest of the day by myself in the quiet. In my bed probably. It's my favourite place in my house.
I'm honestly at a bit of a loss for what I'd do the other two days, but I'm guessing it would be more of the same with a dash of cleaning and a dash of cooking and a bunch of shopping too...
At first I was going to say what would you do if you had 2 weeks, and then I realized most of us would say, "run around in our underwear and find the nearest loonie bin". LOL Or am I alone in that?

2 weeks!! not so much, but maybe I can do 3 days...maybe! lol. I would spend the first day shopping and sleeping!!! The second day spending it with friends and more sleeping and the third day cleaning the house! I love cleaning house when there is no one around!! LOVE it! The first two day will be ALL about Shantel!!!!!!
I would go out to lunch, go shopping, watch my favorite TV shows, go on a couple of long hikes with the dogs in the mountains, get a massage and do a lot of reading. Now I really wish I had 3 days to myself!
I cant imagine spending 3 days without my baby! I think I would find stuff to do for the first day. I would catch up on housework, cross stitch, bake, read, and take a nice long bath (and shave). Maybe I could stretch that into 2 days (cleaning is not fun to me though)...
First of all, I wouldn't send my cat away! I love when I get time to snuggle with her, and there is less of that time with my son around.
I don't know if I'd even be able to take 3 days, but a weekend alone would be nice. Or even just 3 days during the work week but having the evenings to myself. The biggest stresses are having to get DS's lunch ready and taking my shower at night after he goes to bed because I don't have time to do that and get him ready to go to day care in the morning. Also, it's frustrating sometimes not to be able to stay late at work because I have to get home to pick him up. And there's the stress of day care calling because he's sick and one of us has to leave work. And sometimes we have cool evening events that I have to miss.
(DH does his share of covering when I have to work after hours, but his job is higher level and much higher pay than mine so he can't do it as much as me. Not a source of contention for us.)
So, what would I do? Maybe some evening shopping, reading, cleaning, flipping through the channels and watching junk tv shows. Going to restaurants that either DH doesn't like or aren't kid friendly. I don't know what else!
