I have to do one for work. Where I have to write about my self. I have never done on of this before. I have done ones where you have to grade yourself from 1-5 and comment on things.

Any suggestions??

Have you ever had to do one of this before?

ick. you have to write like an essay?

That seems weird. Ours are ratings and comments related to specific objectives too. I already dislike doing those...I can't imagine if i had to write out something longer.

Happy to help you edit though if you need help. I would keep it short and sweet, like if you were to take the comments you would ordinarily do, just lump them all together. Hopefully then you'll give them something actually measurable.

they have the appraisal thing at my work down to a fine art. It's so complicated and intricate...It's amazing any of the management staff gets any work done. They just finish one round of appraisals and they launch into a new round.

Do you have any guiding questions?
If not, here are the ones that are suggested for me. This might be of some help.

1. What parts of your job do you feel you are doing well?

2. What parts of your job do you feel you could improve on?

3. Are there parts of your job where you feel you need additional training?

4. What suggestions do you have to improve the service we provide to our customers?

5. What is important to you in your job?

6. [for your supervisor] What can I, as your supervisor, do to help you be successful and feel satisfied in your job?

^^

No he didn't give us any guidelines are questions or really what he is looking for.

I have to do it today he needs it by Monday and he only gave it to us 3 days ago.

I would rather to the grading system like on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being poor and 5 being excellent kind of thing. I have done them before still don't like doing them but alot easier!!
