Washing machine: front-loader or top-loader? Front load, but I sooo miss my top loader.
Detergent: liquid or powder? liquid
Rinse cycle: fabric softener or another additive? nope. just bounce sheets in the dryer
And then: clothesline or dryer? both
Do you fold things straight off the line or out of the dryer? What do you iron (or have someone iron for you)? yes I fold them straight away. I avoid ironing like the plague. It only happens when DH has to wear a suit, and his shirt needs pressing before we get dressed.

Do you fold things straight off the line or out of the dryer? What do you iron (or have someone iron for you)? I fold out of the dryer and rarely iron.
