I am not sure on this. I have had a lot of bleeding before where we almost went to ER. But never went in. If you start feeling faint or light headed I would go in. Wish I had a better answer for you.

Please call your doctor's office.
They should have someone on call over the weekend or an answering service who can speak to a doctor for you.
I'm so sorry, hon.

well, not sure how comforting this may be. But I am ALWAYS extremely clotty. Also my period is ALWAYS extremely heavy. I use always super overnight pads all day long, it is that bad. and at night I put on two of them, full protection, LOL. Maybe I just get super thick uterus linings. I have always been this way even before my son when I was skinny and healthy an got preggo during the first night with some guy I barely knew (long story)

The same thing happened to my sister. She had a 130 day cycle and her dr. gave her Provera, and she said when she finally got AF it was super heavy and so thick it was almost like jello! I agree that it was probably your super thick lining. I'm sorry, that's so miserable!
