So, let's say you have a trigger shot. How long should that be in your system? When can you trust a pg test? I've read online everything from 4DPO to 14DPO and I am hoping that you, the experts, will have some advice. Thank you in advance for your help. You are awesome!

When I tested 9dpiui, there was no more HCG in my system. That was 11 days past my trigger. What dpiui are you??

Right. About that...

It's stupidly complicated. My doc was sure I would O on my own on CD12 (based on the u/s) but since he was also 'sure' last month and it didn't happen, I wasn't big on the trust this time. I did an IUI last Monday (CD12) in case he was right. Then I did a trigger and another IUI 48 hours later, last Wednesday. Let's say I was right and I'm 6DPIUI. They did an hcg test today and told me it came back at 5 but it could be the trigger. They want to repeat it on Friday. So I'm not sure what the heck good that did me. They also did progesterone, though, and that came back at 36!! I have never had levels higher than 7, even on the last medicated cycle.

I probably shouldn't get my hopes up tho, huh?
Thanks for listening, anyway.

Good luck!
Will you be able to get the results back later on Friday or will you have to wait over the weekend?

It depends on how much you get. Some people get 5000 units and some get 10,000 units. They say you metabolize 1000 units a day. When I got mine for the first time I got 5000...I tested with IC HPTs to watch the line disappear and it was gone by 5 days.

Lana ~ Thank you so much! I'm hoping I get the results on Friday. I am not so good with the patience.

April ~ I think they did 10,000. So it should be gone by Friday, right? 10 days past trigger? If Friday's test goes up at all, that would be a good thing. Heck, that would be a fantastic thing!!! Thank you for your kindness, hon!
