I'm popping in with a question for any ladies who have experience with clomid.....hoping somebody can help me.
Alright girls, I'm getting a little worried. Last month was my 1st medicated clomid cycle. I took 100mg CD 5-9 and O'd on CD 16. Obviously we still got a BFN. Went to the doctor and he moved it to CD 3-7 (he said in the hopes of Oing on CD 14). Well here it is CD 15 and nothing. My CBEFM has been ALL LOW READINGS....not even a high reading as of yet. So, my question is, do you think the clomid didn't work this cycle? Do you think he's going to want to up me to 150 mg. I'm so worried. DH and I have been BDing, but it's getting exhausting. We've been doing it every other day since CD 8. So, tell me, anybody have any insight??? Thanks girls!
P.S. I already ovulate on my own, but late in my cycle.
On my first month of Clomid I didn't ovulate. My progesterone levels confirmed that and so did my CBEFM. I had taken 50mg of Clomid on days 5-9. I had 21 days of Low, 6 days of High then went back to Low. My second time on Clomid, I didn't ovulate when they wanted me to (cycle day 16). But I was still using my CBEFM and it said I ovulated on day 27. I got my progesterone tested again and it confirmed that I did ovulate. I took 100mg of Clomid on days 5-9 again.I had 11 days of Low, 14 days of High, 2 days of Peak, and then back to High then Low. Now I'm on the TWW. If I get a BFN this time, then he's gonna keep me at 100mg, but switch it to days 3-7.
I just think everyone's different, and it depends on the doctor. Some might switch your days again and keep you at the same level of Clomid. Where some might keep the same days and up the dose. Or else they might switch the days and up the dose. It's just all so different depending on the person and the doctor. You could still ovulate late in your cycle, just as I did. On another Forum, I read that someone else had the same thing going on, and she did ovulate on like day 40, she ended up getting a BFP. Good Luck!
Good luck girl! I took clomid 50 mg but it did nothing for me ive had progesterone tests confirm that I did not Ovulate i havent been able to take it again b/c i have a large cyst so i cant have meds. good luck to you keep us posted if you get a peak reading!
