For those of you who have gone through IVF and used Lupron......Any S/E?!?! Today was my first injection and BOY do I have a headache !! Not a migrane but one of those that kind of just buzzes and is annoying!! I figured it was a s/e but thought I'd ask someone who has been through it! Thanks!

The first two days I was on Lupron I felt fantastic! I was like where are all these good feelings coming from? I had tons of energy and just felt great. By day 3 I started to get headaches though. Luckily, that was the only negative side effect I got from Lupron other than a distinct craving for Cheez-its. I couldn't get enough of them. I normally like Cheez-its alright, but on Lupron they were like chocolate to me on a normal day.

Good luck! I'm right behind you with an FET scheduled for the end of August.

I was okay the first couple of days on Lupron before they started the Gonal F and Menapur. Once I was on all three I started having really bad abdominal pains and shortness of breath. I told my nurse and she said those were very unusual side effects. Once the Lupron ended the s/e went away quickly. Good luck!!

I had the dull ache migraine type thing the whole time on lupron, not to mention I was very emotional. When I dropped from 10 units to 5 units it got better.

I guess I was the lucky one, I didn't have any s/e with the Lupron at all. I did get mild hot flashes a couple times with the Microlupron when I was on that, though.
