had the HCG shot and NOT done IUI with it? if so, do you know the success rate? I got pregnant and carried my last Ds for 32 weeks and that was JUST on 50mg of clomid and timed BD'ing. This time I am going to be on 100mg of clomid and the HCG shot.... I hope (even though it would be interesting! and we would be blessed) I don't end up with 7 kids in there!

I am taking 150mg of Clomid and the Ovidrel (HCG) shot this cycle.....in the past I have taken only 100mg of Clomid. Anyways, I have not yet concieved on this medication, but I was told that it increases your chance of multiples by about 10% is all. So I wouldnt worry too much about that...I hope this helps...if you have any questions let me know....

That is what we are doing this cycle!! My RE told me today that your response to clomid doesn't vary to terribly much from cycle to cycle. You shouldn't ovulate 2-3 one cycle and 20 the next. Hopefully you will get your BFP this cycle and it will only be 1 MAYBE 2!
