Okay so i tested this morning and it was BFN I am going to wait a couple of days to see what the outcome is.. but if AF starts up then we are def. goin with IVF

THe RE that is going to be doing my IVF wants a FSH level taken and HSG... is there anything else that needs to be done on my part.. my husband as had a semen analysis! when i did my IUIs all i did was take Clomid have an ultrasound and the insemination took place.. i partially beileve that more should have been done.. but i was so naive to the process!!! that is why i switched doctors...

So I need to have:
CD 3 FSH
HSG
???

PLEASE ADD TO MY LIST GIRLS!

My clinic tests FSH and then some basic blood work, such as iron, rubella immunization, STD testing. That was it for me.

Along with these we were also tested for cystic fibrosis. I also had a HSG, followed by surgery to remove both my tubes due to a build up of fluids. Good luck!! I hope your HSG is clear.

Dangit! I hope you are just early on the testing. My RE also did a post coital test, but since you have done IUI, it doesn't matter. Good luck hun. *hugs*

on me they did the FSH (I'd already done the HSG, but no matter since we knew most of my problem was the now-gone tubes), they did I think the glucose blood test, where you have to fast before the bloodwork, I know they tested a bunch of stuff. Both DH & I had to to bloodwork for genetic karyotyping. Oh, they did a HIV test on me too, I don't recall if they had DH do one. I just remember it was ALOT of bloodwork!

Good luck!!

When I do my IUI, all I do is Femera (use to be Clomid), Ultrasound, HCG shot, and then IUI. I always felt that we should do more but no according to some research I have done.

Did Dr. Donahue do this .. or did your local doctor do the tests you are talking about? He stated all that i needed was FSH CD3 and HSG....
