Do any of you have problems with a thin uterine lining? I've been bleeding for 20 days out of every month for almost a year now. I kept going back to the Ob/Gyn who first blamed it on my weight loss and then on my BC pills. He took me off the pills completely and after doing a U/S he says my uterine lining is incredibly thin and easily irritated and that's why I'm bleeding. Anyway he suggested a tubal and uterine ablation to fix the problem and told me to strictly avoid getting pregnant b/c a pregnancy at this point would result in miscarriage. Now dh and I are thinking we want one more baby and then I'll do the tubal but how hard is this going to be?

Do any of you have experience with this? Dh and I will talk more about it tonight and then I'll call my OB for an appointment to see what he says. In the meantime what do you ladies think? The only thing my Ob/Gyn did NOT do is an endometrial biopsy. My family doctor thinks he should have and I should ask for one before going any further. I'm assuming my OB would have done one if he thought it was necessary.

Thanks Ladies!

Amanda

I'd want a biopsy for sure... and I've had one done, they aren't too bad. It will definatly give you more info, it's pretty standard to do as well.

I hope you get some good answers!
