So, last month was my first month O'ing. I had been upped to 100mg Clomid.
On CD13, my biggest follie wasn't even 11mm and lining was around 3, I think.
On CD17, my biggest follie was almost 20 mm and lining was at 10!
I didn't O until CD23.

Well, today I went to my CD16 ultrasound for this cycle and I had one follie...23mm!!! Lining was 7.9. OPKs are still negative, though. I have a feeling I will be O'ing soon (maybe this weekend). I have been having EWCM for 4 days and I knew that it was going to be my right side that had a mature follie since I have been having pains on that side. BD'ing here I come!

Question:
Does anyone actually use Answer 20-test strip OPKs? Do you trust them? I am cheap, but I don't really trust them. I did not get a blaringly obvious positive last month.

I don't know the answers to your questions as I don't use OPK's but I hope you get your BFP this month!!!

I used them once and hated them...couldnt get a true positive on them. HOWEVER I did use the regular Answer OPK's..the 7 pack and they work like a charm!! I always got a blaring positive on them.

That is the only brand that ever worked REALLY well for me. The internet cheapies worked okay for me, but not as good as Answer dip kind. Answer mid-stream NEVER gave me a positive.

I think everyone reacts to brands differently.

Good luck and lots of to you!

Good Luck, Kasey!! I've never gotten a positive on any brand of OPK so I can't help you much there but I'll be thinking about you! I want to read about your very, very soon!!!

Thanks for your input everyone! I am debating on whether or not to buy others. Deep down I figure what difference does it make? I have the BD schedule all worked out (hehe) and I'm temping and taking note of CM. Not sure if a positive OPK would do anything besides make me happy (but cost me money).
