Geez. I feel like every month I am posting a new plan. Oh well. I guess that means I am moving forward. My progesterone this month was 1.41. No good. Especially since I O'd last cycle. So now, I am going to start taking Metformin. I took my first dose tonight.

Now, a question for all of you. Do you think the Metformin will help me O? My Dr. told me she had 1 other patient that it helped. ONE! That makes me a little nervous. So, what do you all think?

My RE said that metformin has helped his patients O so I am sure that it is possible. He also said that it really helps the quality of eggs that are produced.

I'm no help...I don't know much about Met at all.

I hope it works for you! I wonder why doctor's are so hesitant to give people Prometrium.

Keep us posted...

Is she going to still have you take clomid and Met? From what I have heard women with PCOS who take both have a better chance of O'ing and getting PG. Good luck hun, I hope this plan works out for you!!

I don't know much about Met either. Just that it's given to women with PCOS and can be given with other drugs. Hopefully they keep you on clomid for at least one more cycle to give the drugs a chance together. Good luck.

Thanks ladies. I will be taking the Clomid with the Metformin. I just have to wait a couple of weeks to let the Met. build up in my system. It is worth the wait though if it is going to work.

I'm taking met and clomid. I've been on met. since June. I took clomid 100mg for the first time last cycle and I didn't O so we are going up to 150mg of clomid and 1500mg of met.
Good Luck hun!!!
