Hi ladies. I'm new here, but have a question...

Background info 1st. Me-30. Dh-30 my daughter is 9yrs old. TTC our 1st together for 13 cycles. Diagnosis: Unexplained Infertility. All of our tests-hormones and HSG including dh's SA is perfectly fine!! I also have normal clockwork periods and ovulate on my own.

CD 1 today-of course after my dr. office closed for weekend. I am to start my first Clomid cycle this month after chatting with my RE. So, today is CD1...and monday my dr's office re-opens. Is it ok to have the first ultrasound on Day 4 and begin Clomid on CD 4 or 5? Ugh... I wish they were open on the weekends! From everything i've read it seems it's to be started on cd3.

Any input would be great!! I'm new to this.

My cycles are longer, but I've taken Clomid for three cycles and always taken it days 5-9. I haven't had any ultrasound's done at all, so I'm not sure what day those are on. Good luck!

What time did AF show in full force? B/c most Dr.'s say that if AF ahows after 3pm then CD1 isn't until the next day. Which in turn would make Mon your CD3. I'm not sure why they do it that way but I thought I would let you know.

I have always done Clomid on days 5-9. I agree you should try calling and leaving a message at your RE's office. Mine is open 7-7:30 on Sat/Sun mornings for you to call in/go in. Did your dr give the directions on the rx? Mine always put right on the prescription what days to take it...

Good luck!

That is interesting! Well, AF showed Very light spotting on TP at 7 pm. I called early Friday morning to ask what to do if AF shows over weekend and the nurse said to just call back Monday morning 7 am and I will go in ASAP for appt. So... I think I'm covered. But, I'm crossing my fingers.
