I was on ttc#1 and there was a post about this. Anyone ever use it? Any opinions on whether it is effective?

If you have used it, did you get the personal lubricant or the kind that is applied via applicator to inside the vagina? Which is better?

Thanks!

We've used pre-seed. It's not bad. I used both the applicator version and the 'Pre' lubricant as well. It's expensive but worth it to have a sperm friendly lubricant. It didn't feel any different to me and DH didn't mind it either - it was a little thicker than Astroglide but not as much as KY. We used the Pre-seed during my most fertile window and then 'Pre' the rest of the month. I think you should give it a try - you can get it at drugstore.com and the Pre-seed website also has a store search to help you find local retailers. There's now a cheaper version called Pre-Conceive made by a different manufacturer that's sold in CVS and Walmart that you might want to look into - I haven't had any experience with that myself but I know a lot of other ladies on JM have.

Good luck!

We have used Preseed the last 2 months...cannot vouch for its effectiveness as I am not knocked up yet.

I like the pre-filled applicators...less mess and hassle...just rip open the package and go! I usually insert the Preseed about 10-15 minutes before we're going to start, and it isn't gloppy or messy like some other stuff we have tried.

I ordered it for 2 basic reasons: 1. If my CM is not sperm-friendly (this is what my RE is trying to find out, but he suspects my CM is "hostile"), then maybe the little swimmers will have better luck swimming through the Preseed.
2. Let's face it ladies, TTCMA is not always the most romantic, and sometimes it is nice to have a little help with the moisture down there.

Hope that helps!

Well-I ordered some off of the website-both the applicator kind and the lubricant. Who knows...maybe all the stars will be in alignment for me this next cycle...

It's been several months since we used it and it really helped with the dryness I experience with taking Clomid.

We use it. We don't have a BFP (yet) but it feels nice and it's a comfort knowing that it's not hurting our chances! I bought the applicator so I know I'm not wasting any of it, since it isn't cheap!

We used it about 6 months into our TTC journey---for 3 or 4 cycles. I liked it but honestly---OMG, this might be WAY TMI---but I am usually extra-moist! CM had never been an issue for me, if anything, I seem to have too MUCH.

BUT for anyone who experiences dryness, it is a GREAT lubricator and there are GREAT reviews on the website! It can't hurt to try it!

I did use the pre-filled applicators and they were really easy to use!

I use it!!! DH hates it, he says he can tell a difference!!! It is also a mood killer for him, if I know we are going to DTD, I apply it ahead of time, but, it if is a spur of the moment thing, it kills the mood when I say "hold on honey, let me get my sperm friendly lube" LOL!!! I like it though!! I find that for those dry times...especially on clomid, it really helps!! We have only used it 2 cycles so far and no baby for us ...YET!!!

We used Preseed back when we were TTC our first when nothing else seemed to be working. This was before we found out that we had MFI and even that didn't help us get pregnant. But, I loved the stuff because at the time, we were BDing like crazy all of the time trying to time stuff and after months and months it just seems like a job ya know? The fun is not there as much anymore. But, anyway, many people believe they got pregnant from using it as it helped them.
Oh and I believe I did not use the applicator kind but the regular kind.
