For those that remember, I got my surge on Saturday and called the doctor to see what to do because my clinic is closed on Sundays. I was told to come in Monday (48 hours later and probably too late).

Well, I showed up today for the IUI and it was horrible! It hurt sooooo bad. The tech couldn't get the catheter in. So she had to numb my cervix and get some kind of clamp to grab onto it and try and get it in, but that still didn't work. So, then she had to go get the RE to do it and the RE had a difficult time too. It was so painful. I asked the tech about why they had me come in today, when I got my surge on Saturday and she, too, thought that was odd. She said they normally get the person in on Saturday if they get their surge on Saturday. But, she said the doctor knows best (whatever). But, she did seem to think I wasn't too late to do the IUI (but, she was probably trying to make me feel better).

DH's s/a came back good. They did the analysis when the did the sperm wash before the IUI. His count was 233 million, but the motility was only 25%, which she said normal is 50%. She said that shouldn't really be an issue since his count was so high.

So, I guess now I'm in the 2ww.

How are you feeling by now? I hope that you are resting comfortably and letting those little swimmers catch that eggie! I think I ovulated today, so we are cycle buddies for the 2WW!!
