This month we are taking on our first IUI. I usually have a cycle that is 32 days and I am pretty set on that. Well I don't usually ovulate until the end of the cycle, around cd 20. So because I am taking the injections, how will this change my cycle length.\? The dr said my ovulation should be around cd 13-16. So when would my period come or hopefully not show?

Are you using any drugs? I have a pretty steady 32 day cycle, and I usually ovulate around day 19. We have done 3 natural IUI cycles, and the IUIs didn't change my cycle length at all.

Usually AF should show up around 14-15DPO. You should ovulate 36 hours after the trigger (at least with the dose I'm getting next cycle), so I would think 15-16 DPO you should get AF...or a BFP!!

MY HCG was 22 at 7dp trigger and completely gone 8dp trigger...some will test until it's gone or wait 5 days and test til its gone. For me, I had the luxury of getting it done twice in the ER. I thought the shot would hang around longer because my doctor gave me two booster shots of HCG 1 ad 4 dpiui...the 3rd one made me sick but it may have paid off in the end. Good luck
