So-I'm definitely getting some weird vision things on the 150mg of Clomid. I can't even describe it-but it seems to happen mostly when I am walking or when I'm going from bright light into dim light....there's all these "trailers" of light when I move. It's really creeping me out.

Should I take my dose tonight and call the doctor? Or should I skip the dose and still call my doctor? I just don't want to screw this round up by missing a dose-but am worried that this isn't good

oh yikes!!! That doesn't sound good! I really don't know how to advise you. Part of me would not want to screw up my cycle at all, but you also have to think about your health! I'm so sorry that this is happening. Is there any way you can get ahold of an on call doctor??? Let us know what happens!!!

For me personnally I would take the dose tonight and call first thing in the morning. But I too wouldn't want to mess up my cycle. Good Luck!

Oh boy! I really hope things are going to be fine. You'll have to update us when you get a chance after talking with your dr.

Ok....sorry about my freak out last night When I was on 100 mg last cycle, I did have very slight vision changes. I guess that the 150 is just that much stronger of a dose to give me such strange vision changes. It was kind of scary because I've never experienced anything like that. I had afterimages and light streaks (especially when walking or moving my head). It was almost like my eyes could not adjust to extreme changes in lighting (going from a dark room into a light room or vice-versa)...watching TV in the dark also posed a problem....

So-I sucked it up and called the doctor's on-call nurse last night at 9:30. She didn't really sound like she knew what to say, so she told me to discontinue it and call the doctor tomorrow. I, on the other hand, did the opposite and took the dose last night If she had sounded vehement about me not taking the meds, I would have held out. But I got the feeling she was just covering her butt (in case it was something serious)-and I don't blame her for it. So-after much debate and worrying-I took the pills.

Glad I did...talked to the np today and she said that it is fairly common with higher doses of Clomid but to call if it worsens. Phewwwww....What really freaked me out to begin with is that if you look online, all websites say to stop taking the meds immediately and call your doc (because vision changes can become permanent).

So-that's what happened...glad I disobeyed orders this time anyway Thanks for your input ladies!

I am glad your ok. My OB was pretty strict about me telling him if my vision was affected.

He did say ONLY 1 gal in his Practice ever had a issue.
