I need....some advice...or something ) I am on Clomid cycle 2 - 100mg. Last month...I cramped A LOT towards the end of my cycle. This month...not so many cramps I'm on day #23....yesterday I had blood work to check progesterone levels. They called today and it was a .7 so the nurse said it's a sign that I am NOT ovulating. Could this possibly mean, I have NOT ovulated yet? Or...what does it mean? It's been very disappointing! Last month was a 30 day cycle. Does anyone know exactlly what the progesterone levels tell?
Thanks!

I'm sorry you got that call. I'm at the end of my 2nd clomid cycle (50mg) The first cycle my CD21 progesterone was 0.64 the 2nd cycle it was 0.58. On a medicated cycle drs like to see progesterone #'s above 15. So yes, unfortunately this does mean that you did not ovulate YET.. it doesnt mean that you wont really.. its hard for them to tell if it will work or not unless they are monitoring you with u/s. Do you know what your numbers were for your last cycle?

I hope that you are just a late ovulator!

Good luck!

My first cycle on clomid was 50 mg and my progesterone was 1 so that confirned I did not O that cycle!! This cycle on clomid 100mg, I got a positive opk on the same day I had my bloodwork done so it came back a 3.3, confirming I had not O'd YET!! I talked to my DR and said I had gotten a positive opk on the same day as the bloodwork, he said that because you O like 12-24 hours a positive opk that I should go get bloodwork done 7 days later!! I did that and my level was 33!!! That confirmed ovulation!!!! I hope that maybe you are still going to O, or maybe you had the bloodwork done to soon like I had!!
