I was just curious if anyone else out there has seen this new movie. And if not, I want to encourage you to see it! It is probably one of my favorite movies of all time. Inspiring, life changing, and moving.
TTC is hard on marraige, we all know that, and this movie is so motivational!!! If you ever find yourself struggling in your marraige, this movie is for you, and if you have a happy wonderful and romantic marraige life... THIS MOVIE IS FOR YOU!!

Ok, i'm done now

I haven't seen the movie...would want to see it with DH and not by myself. I bought the book at Wal-Mart, though, because it looked really good. It has little things to do each day to strengthen your marriage and focus on each other.

I haven't seen the movie, but it sounds very interesting. I think I will be getting the book for sure too. Thanks for passing that along.

Yea, the movie and book go hand and hand. The movie is about a firefighter who's marraige is falling apart. Just when he is about to give up and divorce his wife, his father gives him a book that helped HIS marraige when it was on the rocks, "The Love Dare" and it "dared" him to do something for his spouse each day that would be constructive for the relationship.
I balled my eyes out, and was just so touched by the movie. I hope others get as much out of it as I did. As soon as it came out on DVD I bought it!!!

Oh, I didn't realize it was out on DVD already...I'm going to have to go buy it so DH and I can watch it when he gets home (one more week, thank goodness!).

aw that will be awesome when he is finally home again. I just know you will love the movie too!! There are some parts that are a little cheesy, but the film had a budget of just a couple thousand dollars and all of the cast were volunteers. The film crew are an organized group from a church in Georiga who made it their goal to make wholesome movies. Their previous films are Flywheel and Facing the Giants. Both excellent films as well. However, Fireproof is by far their biggest budget film.

DH watched it when he was gone in military training and he called me and cried his eyes out! We actually just watched it together this past week. It was really great. I highly encourage all married couples to watch it together. It is so inspiring.
