So, I'm 12DPO today, and when I tested this morning with FMU I got a blazing BFN. Not even a hint of a hint of a line anywhere. Usually I start spotting 9-11DPO, but so far I haven't had any. Between that and a little cramping I have experienced, I had gotten my hopes up a little about this cycle. After 18 or 19 cycles of BFNs, I thought I was prepared to see another one, but it got to me anyway, and now I'm in a BFN funk.

If someone else were posting this same thing, I would probably be brimming with optimism and saying things like "it isn't over till AF shows" and "it is still early, you could still get a BFP." I don't know why when it comes to my own cycle I don't have that same bright, smiling outlook.

I have my RE appt. on Monday morning, so if AF doesn't show before then I'll test before I leave just to make sure. Look like we're on to 4 cycles of Clomid + trigger + IUI, though.

Sorry to be a downer today, but I just needed to vent a little. Thanks for listening...I feel better just typing this out and knowing that you girls know exactly what this is like.

I guess on a positive note, these BFN funks usually induce obsessive and compulsive house cleaning, so when DH comes home next weekend, this place will be immaculate

Oh I am so sorry! I never gets easier know matter how many times you see BFN. Sending tons of hugs your way, and you have every right to vent.

Melissa. I hope the Clomid, trigger and IUI are the magical combination you need to get your BFP.

I wish we could just get immune to those stupid bfn's! While it completely sucks to get af, it's also the start of a brand new cycle with every possibility in the world. I hope the fourth time is the charm!!!

Well if the evil witch does show, at least you got a great plan for next cycle.

I really hope you end up with a surprise BFP, but if not, hopefully your first round on your new plan will be all you need.

Sorry about the BFN and AF showing! It totally sucks each and every time. I hope that an IUI is JUST what you need so we can all celebrate your BFP in 4 short weeks!
