Had my egg retrieval at 11:30 this morning, and it went really well. I'm a bit sore now, but haven't taken anything for pain yet, so it isn't bad at all. For me, the worst part was not eating or drinking for the 12 hours before the surgery...I was starving! As soon as they let us out of there, we went to Cracker Barrel

We got 15 eggs today!! I figured it would be in the 14-16 range based on my follie scans, so that number makes me happy. I'll get a maturity/fertilization report tomorrow and will post another update then!

That would be great!

We are doing split fertilization at the recommendation of my RE and the embryologist. 9 on the eggs will be ICSI'ed, and the other 6 we will attempt to fertilize naturally. Hopefully we'll get some healthy little embryos one way or another!
