Well I guess I was hoping that IVF would shed some light on why we haven't gotten pregnant in the past 27.5 months, but I don't think that will be happening!
We got 15 eggs from the retrieval yesterday, and 13 were mature. Of those 13, they let 5 try to fertilize naturally, and did ICSI with 8 of the eggs. Of the 8 ICSI eggs, 6 fertilized and are going strong. Of the 5 natural eggs, ALL 5 fertilized I can't believe it!
So, as of today, we have 11 little kiddos in the petri dishes. We'll get another update tomorrow, but for now I'm thrilled with how this IVF cycle has gone for us
Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers...clearly they are working wonders!

Not sure yet. My RE prefers 5 day transfers, but it will depend on the embies. Either way, this is going to be a REALLY long 2WW

Sore...very sore. It feels like I had someone punch me in the stomach about 50 times I have been watching a lot of TV and reading today...and trying not to worry about our embies!
You know how some NICUs have cameras so you can log on and watch your baby? I feel like I need one to check on my embryos every hour or so

Awww. I hope it gets better!! For me, I was shocked at how sore I was and how long it lasted. I don't think it went away until the day of my transfer. The first night, I felt like I had been beaten with a four by four! I also thought it was worse when my bladder was anywhere near full.
Just a few more days. I have such a good feeling about this!!!

No! Unfortunately the next 13 days look pretty dull, which means it will take forever. Plus I'm doing the HCG booster shots again, so early testing will be meaningless. I really need a pill that will knock me out until the 17th
