I emailed my nurse w/my preg. test result today.

I wasn't too surprised, given that I am only 9 dpo. She emailed back and said that they just wanted to see the trigger out of me----I'm 11dpt today.

She then said that if I want, I can go for a beta anytime tomorrow.

Is 10dpo too early for a beta to be conclusive, though? I mean, I know it's possible that it could be +++, but if it's negative, can I trust that?

When do REs typically schedule betas? I think my nurse could sense that I am very anxious and she was trying to be nice by offering the beta tomorrow...but I don't want to do it if it's too early.

Thoughts?

Usually it's 10-12 days after transfer. My 1st beta was 11dp5dt and it was 170! Good luck! (I poas and got a very very faint + 12dpo)

I would probably wait until 14dpo...I know it is hard, but if you do it earlier and get a low number or a negative, it will be REALLY stressful on you. Trust me, I know what getting a beta of 12 will do to a person, and you don't want that Hopefully you'll start getting BFPs on those HPTs, and then the beta will just be an afterthought!

I would wait, too- just my opinion. My RE does a beta 14 days after IUI.

Lots of luck to you! That little one may still be just now settling in!

For my IUI, my RE wanted a beta at 14 dpiui, and I actually wanted to wait until 16 dpiui, JUUUUST in case I had a Pokey myself. So, from my perspective, I'd say wait until 14 dpo/retrieval at least... Just my opinion, but I think it'd be better to wonder (or let those HPT's surprise you) than to be disappointed by a negative because it was too early to test.
