I keep hearing about people doing that.

How does it work? Why would someone do that over a straight injectible cycle?

I'm preparing myself for this cycle not working, I know I'm not "out" yet but I just have a gut feeling it didn't work. We wouldn't be able to do anything regarding IVF until early Jan--I'd start b/c then and we'd do the Jan/Feb cycle.

So basically--if AF arrives, it's going to be within the next 3-4 days and we would have time to get one more cycle in before starting b/c.

I combined femara with gonal f. I only got one follie from it, so my doc switched me to full injects from here on out. That's where we are.

I read that it could be something folks do when clomid is "working" but not producing enough follies, or possibly to help with the quality of eggs that are produced.

I'll never go back to clomid or femara, as I still only had 1 follie and I need more than that to give those swimmers more targets
