Hi everyone,
I haven't posted, but I've been reading for a few weeks here. I thought if I was posting it would make the journey more "real" and I am trying not to get my hopes up. I just finished my first cycle of Clomid (50mg) and I'm getting so anxious to know if it worked. I think this maybe the first time ever that I wish time would hurry through the next few weeks!
My husband and I haven't told anyone that we are TTC. My dr. had me take the clomid days 5-9 and then BD every other day. He doesn't have me going for a US or anything like I've seen some women on here, but I may bring it up at my next appt. to see if thats an option for me.
Just wanted to say hello and hope that you all have an incredible journey! I hope that we all have good news to share in the future!

Good luck! There are many ladies out there who had success on the first shot with clomid. I hope you get to add to that list Keep us posted...

As for the u/s with clomid, it isn't always done. When I was on clomid, I had NO monitoring at all, and I wish I had. I did have the 7 DPO progesterone test to make sure I had ovulated, but that was it. If you CAN get in at least 1 ultrasound to see how you are responding, I'd recommend it. I wish I was given that option, but I was with my OB and she didn't do much in that realm.

Then, I graduated to my Re... He monitors pretty well.

Welcome!! I hope you have some very good news soon. I'm on my first clomid cycle and did it unmonitored this time around too. If I have to do another cycle I think I will do a monitored one. My RE gave me the option between the two.

Good luck! When I took the Clomid I was only monitored the first cycle to see how I respond. I think plenty of ladies take it without monitoring so I wouldn't worry too much. I really hope you respond well to it and it does the trick.

Keep us posted!

Welcome! I understand the getting anxious part--I am nearing the end of my
2WW after our first injectible cycle...hopefully, we can both celebrate a in a few more days!

As far as monitoring goes, my regular OB put me on Clomid and it was unmonitored. I only took it for one cycle. Then we started seeing an RE and did Clomid + IUI cycles and those were monitored. Are you seeing an RE or an OB? Do you temp/chart to confirm O?

Good luck! I hope this is your cycle!
