Is there any hope left? be honest....I am starting to feel really down about this cycle.

How many people really get a BFN at 11 dpo and then go on to get a

I know it *happens* but is it the norm, or the exception?

I'm in a grumpy mood today---I really hate this TTTCMA rollercoaster sometimes!

There's a lot of research and it shows that 12 DPO is the typical earliest you'll get a bfp. Check out FF's research on negatives before positives I know it doesn't soothe the sting, but I have to believe it's pretty true.

Of course, all my BFN's = AF, so I'm of no help. When I was preggo with DD, I didn't have any signs until I was 3 weeks late, so I didn't test until then! So, I have nothing to compare my current efforts to.

Best of luck! Maybe you have your own little Pokey

I'm in that boat, as well, Gwynne! DD was a total surprise pregnancy, and I don't know when I O'd or how many DPO I was, etc. I have always had very regular cycles so my FIRST CLUE with her was a missed AF. I know for a fact that I didn't have sore, bigger bbs until at least a few days AFTER that. I was SO chicken that I didn't even take a test! Like an IDIOT, I went to my OB on the 38th day of my cycle--at that point, I was probably about 8-9 days late. I told the nurse that my bbs were sore, I was cramping and my period was late, and I was SURE that something was really wrong with me! (And honestly, I KNEW I was pg, I was just in total utter shock/denial) The nurse was kind of abrupt and I remember her asking me if I'd taken a pg test and I said no, and she said "well, then that's the first thing we are going to have you do." I said I couldn't pee b/c I had just gone and she said "no problem, we can put a catheter in!"

Needless to say, I mustered up some pee and the nurse actually showed a kinder side and let me come to the back room with her to watch the test. INSTANT DARK obviously.

When I was pregnant with my first, I got BFNs all the way up to 13dpo. I got my first BFP at 14dpo.

My HCG at 16DPO was only 12.4, so it seems to me you definitely have time to get that BFP!!

I got a BFN on an FRER at 11dpiui. That background was stark stark white....there was no 'i think i see something' it was a clear BFN. I was so sure I was out that I didn't test again until 17dpiui (4 days late)!

Personally, I think I implanted late which the sonographer said was probably a reason that I was measuring 4 days behind at my 10 week appointment.

It's definitely possible.
