Nothing is TTCMA related, but I had a good day...

I recovered from my trip, which I usually have to do after travel. I'm soooo tired! And, it is -10 degrees right now.

I put up my Christmas tree, baked a batch of cookies to go out to my brother and dad.

AND...

I asked DH for a Gazelle Freestyle (elliptical kind of thing, think obnoxious Tony Little infomercial) for a Christmas present. They were on sale for $168 at Amazon (free shipping).

KNOWING our IUI cycle is going to be a banger in terms of $, I also have been looking at Craig's List and found, this morning, a Gazelle but it is 2 "levels" better! This, new, is like $450 or something and I'm getting it for $55! And she only had it for 6 months, then moved to a smaller place, so I'm basically getting a brand new piece of equipment for $55.

I'm so stoked! It almost sounds too good to be true, but I've bought from this area before, and it is a well-established, financially stable town and I think they just have a completely different mindset when selling stuff. I'll pick it up tomorrow. It's about 1.5 hours away, but the drive will be so worth it! She had pics and it looks BRAND NEW. I'm thrilled!

Now, I have to USE it and lose at least 40 pounds!

Sounds like a great buy! I love Craigslist.

We bought a dog crate on Craigslist for $30--we have an Irish Setter, so she is HUGE, and those big crates normally retail for a few hundred! Gotta love a bargain!

Enjoy your gazelle!

Sounds like a pretty fantastic day to me! Especially the cookies.

Now that I know where to stalk you and find your updates, I'll have to check in here more regularly.

Yep, Gillian... I've been B.A.D!!! about posting on the PR. It's tough sometimes, and I often just find a few minutes a day here and there, so I've naturally been checking in here first and then I lurk quite a bit on the PR, but really haven't posted much. I respond on occasion when I'm really drawn. I just pray that I get more time after the holidays to spread myself out a bit more. Oh well. I promise to check in!
