After years of trying, 2 years of fertility meds, multiple surgeries, blood draws and needle sticks, some awful pre-IVF complications, and endometriosis and PCOS,
We are done TTC. Praying for peace as we accept this...
Hoping for some comfort after our most recent (and 3rd) surgery and starting Lupron!
Generally you can see the sac when your hcg reaches 1,000 - 1,500, which happens at around 5 weeks. Depending on how your bean is growing, though, it might be sooner or later, and that's okay. I had an u/s at 5w1d and saw nothing. At 6w we did see the sac and fetal pole...Pokey took his/her time.

I have had quite a few early ultrasounds. I have always been told you need your hCG levels to be 1000 to really see anything.
I have seen a sac and a fetal pole as early as around 4 weeks 6 days but I think 5ish weeks is more the norm. I think some of this depends on the equipment at your doctor's office. I wouldn't count on seeing anything until you were somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks.
