My Tuesday is terrific because my dad sent me a card in the mail yesterday.

When he asked what DH & I wanted for Christmas this year, I just said money would be great.

Given that we got pg on our own, we're not sure we will do IVF, at least not at this point; but at the time, when I told my dad this, I was trying to figure out a way to pay for IVF before January!

He sent us a card w/a check and he was extremely generous.

So that was a very wonderful, unexpected surprise to get in the mail! I am feeling very grateful today.

that was so swet of your dad. I haven't yet told mine what we are doing because I don't want his lecture about how much it will cost.
