So, Yes, I am doing a donor cycle to make some couple very very happy!

I had my consult on Monday. They basically asked me 500 questions in addition to the 26 pages I had already filled out. So far, I passed the first part and the second part (which was a drug test which i obviously passed). Next, I have to meet with the psychologist so they can make sure I am sane They also need to take blood from DH and a urine sample from him to make sure he has no diseases he can give me. He is supposed to come with to the psychological appt with me, but its going to be impossible since he is working on his dissertation and having to watch the baby if i am out of the house.

We are waiting for my next cycle (cause today is CD1 and with the holidays/new year its rough - would put retrieval in like 5 weeks) so retrieval will be mid-end February. They are gonna use the same protocol that was used for my IVF cycle since i responded very well to those drugs. (Which also means I get to have those kickarse allergic reactions again too! Can't wait! lol.

I plan on doing a second cycle after 2 cycles off. (Give my body time to recoup) So in April/May I will do another cycle. Then, my body will recoup again and then in August/September we are doing an FET for our 2nd

It's so self-less what you are doing. I think it's awesome. You are so generous.

What a precious gift you are giving! You may be helping more than one child and they will be truly, truly blessed with your selflessness. I'm just in awe at your efforts.

I love the plan for your 2nd too! Sounds perfect and I hope it all works out without any glitches and your body recovers between cycles with great ease and health.
