She's still in the hospital, but she sounds like she's in good spirits (maybe that's the codeine talking!). She had a kidney infection when they gave her the methotrexate, which isn't good. Either she's sensitive to the meth. or the kidney infection plus the drug messed everything up...there's really no way to know. She's on a million drugs to get her body back to normal, but will recover 100% after a little time.
Her HCG levels are dropping, so surgery might not be necessary...she'll find out tomorrow when they either bring her discharge papers or consent forms for surgery. Fingers crossed that surgery won't be needed.
And of course she misses you all as much as we miss her!
"...please tell everyone how much I appreciate the support and love. I really hope that I'm home tomorrow. Please let everyone know that I am really doing okay, despite all the things that have gone wrong. I'm not going to say "everything happnes for a reason" because that's just not me. I will say that I think it was rotten luck, and I'm hopeful that things will be better."
I will update more later if I can...hopefully the next update will be from Addie on her home computer, though!

I'm so glad to hear an update and to hear that she is in good spirits---well, as good as can be expected. What a terrible ordeal this has been for her! Addie, I am so sorry for what you are going through! But you are right to try to focus on HOPE and that next time, things will work out much better.
I'm praying that you can be home ASAP. Hang in there, sweetie!
