I am a new old person here. I used to be on the boards a couple of years ago and took a much needed break. DH and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years...in our first round of IVF. So....yesterday was 15 days past when we had the hcg trigger shot (took it on Jan 31st)...3 day transfer of 1 embryo on the 5th. We broke down and took a pregnancy test (which I swore I was not going to do
....it came up positive right away! Then, we did not trust it so I took another one and it was positive. We get blood test results tomorrow.
Thoughts on if the trigger shot is still in my system?
Ok, these comments are helping! I've read it can stay in your system up to 14 days so I, of course ,second guess it. BUT that is what happens when you have had false alarms, etc. I'll let you all know what happens tomorrow! Crossing my fingers!
I took another POAS this morning and it was positive!! So, yes, I'm with you all - I am pregnant!! I'll let you know how the beta comes back. Hopefully, we have a sticky strong bean. Thanks for all the posts!
Update: you are all very wise women, I am pregnant! Still a little in shock. Beta on monday was 49.5, and today it was 105. So...we are are headed the right direction! After 3 long years of trying, this is our 1st pregnancy! Thanks for all the positive vibes! Due date: 10/26/10.
