Anyone get a BFN on 10 dpo and then go on to get a BFP? Anyone do that after using a FRER (or similar early test) on 10 dpo? I hear people say they tested negative at 10 dpo, and then positive later, but they were using ICs or some other lower sensitivity test. I've been using FRERs and still testing negative - just wondering if there's any hope this cycle.

Yes ma'am in 2008 I tested at 10DPO with a FRER and got a negative. Then I got a BFP on the second test from that box at 11DPO.

I m/c but it had nothing to do with me getting a BFN at 10DPO.

10 dpo is really pretty early to get a

I tested BFN at 10, 11 and 12 dpo. Didn't test at 13 dpo and then finally got a
BFP at 14dpo.

It was a chemical pg, but testing BFN had nothing to do with that.

I am pretty sure Gwynne (redbirds) tested BFN at maybe 11 dpo? and then positive at 13? Hopefully, she can fill you in!

I think MORE women than not test BFN at 10dpo. JMO.

With Isabelle (2007) I tested BFN at 11dpo and then BFP at 13dpo and I did use FRERs both times.

Yep, Jordan's right...

I tested 10 DPO BFN with an Answer Early (which, on the bfp's was actually darker than the FRER's). I tested BFP on 13 DPO with the Answer Early. Didn't test between then, too stressful and I VOWED not to!

I tested at 9dpiui and 11dpiui with FRERs and both were negative and I mean, stark white....no way in h.e.l.l. positive! I was so bummed I didn't test again until 17dp.

Try not to compare yourself to others....that was the hardest thing for me to do.

Thanks... you gals are really helping me feel better. With DS I think I tested positive around 10 dp IUI, and it was clearly positive, so I guess I just expect the same thing to happen again (even though yea yea I know, all pregnancies are different). It's a fine line between wanting to say hopeful about this cycle and not wanting to get my hopes up too high that I'm devastated if this cycle doesn't work. I don't know if I'd rather be an optimist or a pessimist on this one.

I once got a positive test at 10dpo, it sadly ended in miscarriage, but it's totally possible! Good luck!

I think it really depends on your anatomy/ how long it takes to travel down the fallopian tube. Both times i've been pregnant, I got my positive early. First time at 11dpo it was very dark. Then this time i got a positive at 9dpo, but very light. But I know girls that got there bfp at 18 dpo after testing every day.
