I'm freaking out I am 13dpo. My first ovidrel shot was on Feb 6th in the afternoon (14 days ago) I had to do another ovidrel for low progesterone 8 days ago. I took a clear blue easy digi (pregnant/not pregnant) and it came up pregnant. I am not getting my hope up but do you think the 2nd ovidrel could be out of my system?

Update*****
took another digi just now and it was "not pregnant". I know I was not getting my hopes up but it still sucks, seeing pregnant was so wonderful and now seeing not pregnant is heart breaking. I learned my lesson with testing to early. I just don't know what to do I am getting so down, I want a baby so bad . Thanks for all your help ladies

If I had to guess I would say its a bfp because digitals are higher sensitivity levels then like a frer

they say a day per 1,000 units... I believe ovidrell is 5,000 units which it should be out of your system.. If you have the little pamphlet call and ask how long tills its out of the system..

FINGERS CROSSED THIS IS IT!!!

Thanks so much I sure hope so. I am just trying to not think about it bc I don't want to be crushed if it's not. I def. won't tell DH, he would be so upset if it was not the real deal.

I would see about a blood test. I know it took 8-10 days for Ovidrell to get out of my system.

ovidrel never leaves my system for 9-10 days.

Melissa- my dose was 250mg or 0.5ml I did one 14 days ago and one 8 days ago

I have no symptoms to make me believe that it's a BFP

I have always been told on this board that about 1,000 units of Ovidrel leaves your system each day. Another TTCMA grad, though, explained that while that is a good average, it isn't exactly how your body does it. 50% of the Ovidrel should leave your system about every 24 hours, so if you start with a 5,000 unit shot, the next day you have 2,500 left, the next day 1,250, etc...it isn't just 1,000 units/day. Using those calculations, you might have just enough Ovidrel left in your system to make the digi positive. Some people metabolize Ovidrel more quickly, and some more slowly...so at this point your positive test may or may not be a real BFP.

I wish I could be more positive than that, but I'm just telling you what the numbers say. I have had experience with HCG boosters to help progesterone, and the waiting and wondering if a BFP is real or not is excruciating! I hope that this is it for you...my fingers are crossed!!

It just never gets any easier and the only thing I can really say is how sorry I am that you have to go through this at all. I hope that someday SOON you are shouting from the hilltops that you are finally pregnant!!!
