I am worried because I am 5wk3d pregnant and my ohss symtoms are going away. It probably sounds crazy but I liked having the symptoms because it made me feel secure that I was still pregnant. Now that the symptoms are going away I'm worried the pregnancy is. Anyone out there that had ohss that resulted in a pregnancy can you tell me how long you had it. I should also mention that mine was mild case. Thanks!

I did not have OHSS, but I know what you are feeling in regards to wanting to feel something! After the retrieval and in the weeks that followed, I was sore, bloated, it hurt to pee, and I generally just felt lousy. When I started to feel better, it was scary. I was pregnant...I wanted to feel terrible so I "knew" I was still pregnant. The only thing that made me feel better was to keep peeing on sticks, plus since my betas were all over the place, I was getting b/w pretty often.

Good luck, and I hope you feel terrible very soon

I had OHSS so severe that I was very nearly hospitalized, and by 5 weeks my symptoms were going away too. My morning sickness also disappeared and I was convinced I was losing the baby. I also worried that I was never really pregnant. But here I am in the third trimester with a healthy baby boy.

Your fears and worries are very normal

I was going to say that Rebecca went through the same thing. Not to worry... your little one should still be nice and snug in there!
