How long have you been TTC? 1 Year

Have you used any MA, if so what have you done? None yet. We are just getting started with the whole MA thing

What's the current plan? We were diagnosed with severe MFI after my DHs first SA. My BW came back normal. Given our SA stats, we anticipate our only option being IVF with ICSI but, we're still working with the urologist and have not yet met with a RE. We've starting saving aggressively for IVF!

Anything else you'd like to share? I've been lurking since our diagnosis just over a month ago and I appreciate all that I've learned from you ladies!

How long have you been TTC? A little over a year

Have you used any MA, if so what have you done? Nope...im a strange situation...I will need MA after I get pregnant though, most likely, to be able to not miscarry.

What's the current plan? Well I finally got diagnosed in January after a tough road, filled with lots of heartache. Ive had 4 early losses, and obviously always knew something was wrong. Oddly enough, I felt it from the time I had the first miscarriage. It got really tough getting pregnant and pretty much expecting a miscarriage. FINALLY my OB referred me to a specialist after the third miscarriage but it was right after our wedding and we were pretty much relaxing about it all and didnt think i'd wind up pregnant. But i did, and then miscarried. So I gave him a call...I LOVE my RE so much and i'll be sad when I have to go back to my regular OBGYN once I get past 8weeks (if I ever do!)...anyways im typing out my life story sorry! He did all the testing and it came back that I am heterzygeous for the MTHFR mutation. So im prone to blood clots, and I need extremely high amounts of folic acid, B6, and B12. I am on a medication called Folgard, and baby asprin along with my prenatal as well. If/when I ever get pregnant again my dr will make the decision whether or not I should switch to injectable blood thinners instead of the baby aspirin (he says he most likely will want me to, better safe than sorry). So thats my story! Im currently waiting to O this cycle...i never introduced myself here (although ive always wanted to join you ladies are all so supportive of one another, and I know a few girls) because im not technically on any MA although I do have some issues that have caused our journey to be very tough for us.

Anything else you'd like to share? I have a fear that I will never have a child...never have a big pregnant belly. I feel it everyday, I feel like i will never be lucky enough to get that far

Welcome Amy & Ashley! I am glad that you introduced yourselves and shared your stories.

Ashley, I am so sorry for all of your losses. I am glad that you have found an RE that has focused on and uncovered the issue in your body. I hope that your next pregnancy goes very smoothly. I really wish that I could find an RE that would spend the time with me to figure out what is wrong with my body.
