My IVF office just called and all our tests came back NORMAL!!!!! So excited cause I was a bit worried about the egg reserve one. I will be starting Lupron soon (forgot to write the date down, have to check online there is a patient portal with our info there) and then baseline is March 10th with mock transfer then. I need a full bladder for the baseline, mock U/S, is that normal? Did anyone do a mock transfer on their real IVF cycle? My head is spinning thinking I may get a BFP in April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure I will have a million questions as I progress. I hope this is it!

I'm so excited for you I remember when we got our dates, I kind of felt like we had a fresh start! I'm thrilled for you that you get to start very, very soon!

Yes, I had a mock transfer at the beginning of my IVF cycle, and I also had to have a full bladder. Basically a nurse will do an abdominal u/s while the doc puts the catheter into your cervix that will have the embryos in it during the real IVF. The doc will measure where your uterus begins and ends so he can put those little embies in exactly the right place. It didn't take very long, and was only minorly uncomfortable because I had to pee

I'm sure you'll have a million questions as you go, and you'll have no trouble getting answers on this board!! Good luck!!

I have heard that having a mock transfer is a really important step! I'm glad your RE is doing one.

I'm excited for you! This will be a....December baby??? Or November?

Thanks ladies!

Melissa- Glad to hear you had the same things done. I have a two hour drive there so I guess I will drink it up the whole way! I hate having to pee bad, so it will be torture...LOL I do feel like it is a fresh start, nice way to put that.

Jordan- I am thinking an early Dec baby? Not sure when transfer would be or how you calculate an IVF due date? Guess I will learn!

Ahhhh... I need this to work!

good luck with the IVF steps I pray this brings you a very sticky BFP in April

Kensley is a late Dec baby, original due date Jan 4., and if I recall, that cycle began in early April, so I bet you are looking at an early Dec or even LaTE Nov. due date. Maybe a Thanksgiving baby

I am very excited for you! I knew you were talking about doing IVF but since I haven't been over here in a while I didn't realize you were this close!

When I did my mock transfer it was the cycle before my IVF. I did not have a full bladder but I should of. He just worked around it because I came in that day and he got me on the schedule for IVF that same day so I had to get it done on that day or I would have had to wait another cycle.

I just want to say good luck!!! If this cycle does not work for me I will be moving to IVF with ICSI. I'm sure all the ladies on the IVF thread will be more then helpful (I have been lurking there). I can't wait to hear your good news in April!!!!!
